Alexis Lloyd is a Creative Technologist for the Research and Development Lab at The New York Times, where she investigates technology trends and prototypes future interfaces for content delivery. She has over 12 years experience as a multimedia designer and information architect, and has designed award-winning projects for clients such as FOX, Columbia University, American Express, The New York Historical Society, PBS, and others. In addition, her data-driven new media artwork has been shown internationally, in such venues as SIGGRAPH, the Chelsea Art Museum, Artgadgets (Netherlands), MAD Emergent Arts Center (Netherlands), the Melvin Art Gallery, and Symphony Space. Alexis holds an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design.

My Washington Square
My Washington Square is an experience-mapping project exploring contemporary and historical stories situated in New York's Washington Square Park. Through personal stories submitted by online visitors as well as historical information, this project explores the ways in which physical spaces contain many layers of memory and experience.
