The Ad Generator
This is the first of some experiments I'm doing in preparation for my thesis.

The AD GENERATOR is an experimental project exploring the ways that advertising manipulates human desire through language and image.

What kinds of cultural values does our advertising reflect or impose?

Has our language to express real values and ideals been rendered meaningless?

The AD GENERATOR uses words and phrases from real corporate slogans and randomizes them to generate new slogans. Images are generated by searching Flickr photos for relevant keywords.
