Alexis Lloyd is a multimedia designer, information architect, and new media artist whose work includes innovative interaction design and data-driven media art works. Her work has been shown at SIGGRAPH, the Chelsea Art Museum, Felissimo Design House, Artgadgets (Netherlands), the Melvin Art Gallery, and Symphony Space, and her projects have been reviewed in leading blogs such as Gothamist and Tech Crunch.

In addition to her independent work, Alexis has designed award-winning projects for clients such as FOX, Columbia University, American Express, The New York Historical Society, PBS, and others. She currently works for the New York Times Research and Development group as a Creative Technologist, where she investigates future technology trends and prototypes cutting-edge interfaces for content delivery.

Alexis holds an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design and a BA in Theater from Vassar College.

Upcoming Exhibit
Prime Time: A Word from our Sponsors will be shown from February 2nd-27th in a video art exhibition at the Melvin Art Gallery in Lakeland, FL. Prime Time is a generative video collage that dynamically remixes television commercials. The show also includes work by Ligia Carvallo, Samuel Romero, and Lisa Erdman.
