Alexis Lloyd is a Creative Technologist for the Research and Development Lab at The New York Times, where she investigates technology trends and prototypes future interfaces for content delivery. She has over 12 years experience as a multimedia designer and information architect, and has designed award-winning projects for clients such as FOX, Columbia University, American Express, The New York Historical Society, PBS, and others. In addition, her data-driven new media artwork has been shown internationally, in such venues as SIGGRAPH, the Chelsea Art Museum, Artgadgets (Netherlands), MAD Emergent Arts Center (Netherlands), the Melvin Art Gallery, and Symphony Space. Alexis holds an MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design.

Upcoming Exhibit
Prime Time: A Word from our Sponsors will be shown from February 2nd-27th in a video art exhibition at the Melvin Art Gallery in Lakeland, FL. Prime Time is a generative video collage that dynamically remixes television commercials. The show also includes work by Ligia Carvallo, Samuel Romero, and Lisa Erdman.
