comMODIFIED is a thesis project and paper created as a component of the MFA program in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design. The project consists of a series of new media art works that remix advertising media as a method of critiquing, questioning, and satirizing marketing rhetoric. The thesis paper documents the design process as well as providing critical analysis on both the theoretical and practical issues involved in the development of the works.
